resource: GrantSpace.org

Building on its reputation as the foremost source of information on philanthropy across the globe, the Foundation Center impresses again with a website devoted to the needs of grantseekers.

GrantSpace.org is broken into four core sections that provide a wealth of resources, many of them free of charge, for grant seeking and fundraising management:

  • Subjects: Provides an overview of news, job listings, RFPs, statistics, and sample documents sorted by subject. Looking for sample proposals for Human Services organizations, or the latest Tweets from organizations funding Arts and Culture? This is the place to look.

  • Skills: Includes media, knowledge databases, and template documents for nonprofit management topics from Accountability to Voluntarism. Videos and recorded discussions feature input from expert speakers, and FAQs are highlighted by category.

  • Classroom: Focuses on available training courses in grants research and fundraising management. Courses are available in classroom format at cities across the country, or as both live and recorded webinars. The interactive e-learning tutorials allow you to apply each lesson to your organization for maximum impact.

  • Tools: Offers an approachable interface for research over multiple databases, including nonprofit collaborations and resources for measuring social impact. This section also features widgets to find foundations, 990s, and grant reports.
